Xiaomi has officially unveiled the new Xiaomi 18 Fold, a premium foldable smartphone with a compact, passport-inspired design aimed at competing in the rapidly growing foldable phone market.

The device features a 5.38-inch external display and a 7.58-inch internal screen, offering a wider format when unfolded. Its design makes the phone more compact when closed while providing a larger workspace for multitasking.

One of its biggest highlights is the XRING O3 processor, a chip designed by Xiaomi itself. The phone also includes up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage and a 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Photography is another major feature, with a Leica camera system led by a 200-megapixel main sensor, along with a 50MP periscope telephoto and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

Why is the Xiaomi 18 Fold attracting so much attention?

Because Xiaomi combines a passport-style foldable design with its own high-performance chip, a large battery and flagship-level cameras, positioning the device as a serious rival in the premium foldable market.
