The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing to honor legendary coach Phil Jackson with a bronze statue outside their downtown arena, recognizing one of the most successful coaches in franchise history.
The statue is scheduled to be unveiled on April 9, 2027, before the Lakers face the Minnesota Timberwolves. Jackson will become the ninth person associated with the Lakers to receive a statue at Star Plaza.
