Tensions between Iran and the United States have risen again following a new military escalation in Middle Eastern waters. Tehran warned that it could expand its attacks against U.S. military vessels if Washington continues operations against Iranian ships and the maritime blockade.
The warning came after U.S. forces attacked three Iranian oil tankers, in response to missile launches by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against two U.S. warships. According to U.S. Central Command, the American vessels managed to avoid the attacks, and no U.S. service members were injured.
