Starlink’s satellite internet service has introduced key changes to its residential plans and equipment, aiming to better adapt to users’ needs. The company has reorganized its offerings with new packages that combine speed and router type, marking a more flexible strategy.
Among the updates are two main configurations. On one hand, the basic plan includes a Mini Router, compact and efficient, ideal for small households with basic connectivity needs. On the other, more advanced plans feature a next-generation router with tri-band Wi-Fi 6, wider coverage, and additional ports to connect more devices.

Additionally, the company seeks to optimize costs by assigning equipment based on the type of user, even allowing the use of external routers in certain cases.
What really changes for users?
They can now choose a plan that better fits their home, whether it’s a basic and affordable option or a more powerful one with improved coverage and speed.
With these adjustments, Starlink not only enhances its service but also strengthens its position in the competitive global internet market.
