Nvidia and Microsoft invest $15 billion in Anthropic to boost AI

Nvidia and Microsoft have announced a major strategic partnership with the artificial intelligence startup Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI model. Nvidia will contribute up to $10 billion, while Microsoft will invest an additional $5 billion.

As part of the agreement, Anthropic will allocate $30 billion toward Microsoft Azure cloud services. The company also plans to use up to 1 gigawatt of computing capacity, leveraging Nvidia’s latest chip architectures such as Grace Blackwell and Vera Rubin.

This collaboration strengthens the growing interdependence among the three companies and highlights how the AI market is increasingly concentrating around a handful of powerful players.
