The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) briefly suspended operations at LAX while the cause of the engine issue was investigated. Despite the scare, no serious injuries were reported, and passenger safety remained the top priority throughout the process.

What caused the emergency landing?

The pilot responded to a possible engine fire alert, prompting the immediate decision to return in order to protect passengers and crew.

Airport operations resumed normally after the incident, though some delays occurred due to safety inspections and the temporary closure of a runway.
