Recent reports reveal that BTS surpassed the Backstreet Boys’ legendary record with their ARIRANG tour, becoming the highest-grossing boy group tour in history.
According to ticket office data revealed by Billboard, the boy group’s current ‘ARIRANG’ World Tour has reached a cumulative gross of $433.2 million after selling 2.3 million tickets for a total of 38 completely sold-out concerts.

These figures manage to surpass the Backstreet Boys‘ impressive record of $315 million in revenue from their successful 2001 ‘Black & Blue’ tour, which held the position of the highest-grossing boy band tour in history for decades.
Now BTS’ tour ‘ARIRANG’ has made history by beating this record with a huge difference of $100 million but also officially becoming the highest-grossing tour of any vocal group and K-Pop act in entertainment history.T
