A news helicopter crashed in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, September 15, leaving three people dead while the crew was covering another traffic accident in the Chatsworth area.
The aircraft was operated by Angel City Air for NBC4 and Telemundo 52. Journalist and aerial photojournalist Eliana Moreno and pilot George Marciniw were killed in the crash, along with a third person who was on the ground. Two other people were taken to hospitals following the incident.

The helicopter went down between commercial buildings and caught fire, prompting a response from more than 70 firefighters. The accident occurred while Moreno and Marciniw were providing aerial coverage of a separate deadly collision involving a Metro bus.
