Yesterday, Senegal were crowned champions of the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations after defeating host nation Morocco 1–0 in extra time in a final marked by tension, controversy, and high drama in Rabat.

The only goal came in the 94th minute, when Pape Gueye fired a powerful shot early in extra time, sparking celebrations among the Lions of Teranga and their supporters.
