Legendary golfer Tiger Woods is once again at the center of controversy after being arrested in Florida for allegedly driving under the influence of substances following a traffic accident.
According to reports, the incident occurred when Woods attempted to overtake another vehicle on a two-lane road, causing his car to overturn. Although he did not suffer serious injuries, authorities noted signs of impairment, which led to his arrest.

Interestingly, a breathalyzer test at the scene came back negative for alcohol, but authorities suspect his condition may have been related to the use of medications or other substances. Additionally, Woods reportedly refused to take a further test, which complicated his legal situation.
This latest episode brings back similar past incidents in the golfer’s life, as he has previously faced issues related to driving.
Why was Tiger Woods arrested if he had no alcohol in his system?
Because authorities observed signs of impairment possibly caused by medications or other substances, which can also lead to a DUI charge even without alcohol.
