In another magical performance, George Russell dominated almost from start to finish at the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, crossing the finish line first and pushing Max Verstappen down to second place. However, the celebration wasn’t just for Mercedes: McLaren, thanks to the points earned by its drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, secured its second consecutive Constructors’ Championship.

Despite Russell’s victory, much of the spotlight also fell on the tense exchange between Norris and Piastri at the start, which sparked internal criticism and exposed the growing pressure within the team.

Does this mean McLaren could be one of the favorites for the 2025 season?

Yes. With this win, the team proves it not only has top speed, but also the ability to overcome internal tensions and manage the championship with confidence and determination.
