In the early hours of December 6, it became known that Netflix shocked the streaming world by finalizing a multimillion-dollar deal to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery, including its film and television studios and platforms such as HBO Max and HBO. The operation, valued at approximately 82.7 billion dollars, marks one of the largest moves ever seen in the entertainment industry.

With this surprising acquisition, Netflix adds an incredible catalog to its lineup, as well as globally recognized films and series, strengthening its position as the most dominant streaming platform on the planet. It also absorbs nearly a century of legacy from Warner Bros, significantly expanding its presence in both film and television.
