Microsoft has officially announced the launch of Windows 11 version 24H2, which it describes as “the most reliable version of Windows ever.” According to telemetry data collected in July 2025, this update reduces unexpected restarts by 24% compared to Windows 10 version 22H2.

Microsoft attributes this improvement to close collaboration between engineering, design, and user experience research teams, aiming to make Windows more robust for everyone. Additionally, the update introduces a redesigned Blue Screen of Death (now black), and optimizes crash reporting to just two seconds, down from the previous 40.

Version 24H2 now surpasses Windows 10 in reliability, a system long praised as one of Microsoft’s most stable. Among its new features is Quick Machine Recovery, which automatically detects and repairs boot errors, significantly reducing downtime.

What does this improvement mean for users?

Users can expect a more stable and seamless experience with fewer unexpected disruptions, faster system recovery, and clearer error reporting. This is especially beneficial for professionals who rely heavily on their PCs for critical tasks.

Conclusion:

With Windows 11 24H2, Microsoft sets a new milestone, exceeding expectations in performance and stability—surpassing even its most praised predecessor. The company has also lifted update blocks that previously prevented certain devices, especially gaming PCs using Easy Anti-Cheat, from upgrading to this version. As such, users are encouraged to update soon to benefit from a more reliable and efficient system.
