The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team surprised fans of Formula 1 by unveiling a striking special livery for the car it will use at the Japanese Grand Prix in 2026.
The new design keeps the team’s traditional black and silver base colors but adds unique elements inspired by a wolf, a clear reference to the surname of team principal Toto Wolff. The livery aims to stand out visually during one of the most iconic races on the Formula 1 calendar.
The race will take place at the legendary Suzuka Circuit, a track famous for its technical challenges and passionate Japanese fans. Mercedes hopes the special presentation will also help connect with supporters and create a bigger impact during the race weekend.
