Google has unintentionally unveiled the design of its upcoming Pixel 10 Pro, confirming previous rumors about its look and key features ahead of the official launch event scheduled for August 20, 2025.

A short 13-second animation posted on Google’s official store shows the number “10” transforming into the iconic rear bar of the device. It reveals a metallic blue-gray finish, likely the “Moonstone” or “Frost” variant, along with a temperature sensor just below the flash, a feature exclusive to Pro models. The design remains in line with the Pixel 9 Pro but features more refined side edges and a slightly redesigned camera module.

The leak wasn’t due to third-party media or insiders, the big company itself mistakenly published the image on its website, even triggering a promotional offer of €50 off for new subscribers, valid from August 20 to September 4, 2025.

What’s the most important takeaway from this leak?

  • The info comes directly from Google, not external leaks.
  • It confirms a continuous design with subtle improvements.
  • Introduces a temperature sensor as a distinguishing feature for Pro models.
  • It’s paired with a global promotion aimed at new subscribers.

The “Made by Google” event is set for August 20, 2025, in New York, where Google will also unveil the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. At this point, the only surprises left are full specs and official prices.

Could this leak be part of a controlled marketing strategy?

Yes, it seems likely that Google is intentionally managing its own narrative. By releasing a teaser of the Pixel 10 Pro ahead of schedule, the company keeps media attention on its terms, a smart move in today’s tech landscape.

With the design now public, all eyes are on August 20, when Google will officially reveal its new Pixel ecosystem and everything that comes with it.
