Ferran Torres to leave Barcelona: PSG reaches agreement for his transfer

1 Min Read

Ferran Torres is close to ending his time at Barcelona. FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) have reached a preliminary agreement for the Spanish forward’s transfer for a fee of around €50 million, according to sources cited by ESPN.

The move represents an important change for Torres, who joined Barcelona from Manchester City in 2022. During his time with the Catalan club, the attacker gained prominence thanks to his ability to play in different positions across the front line.

PSG’s interest is also linked to the club’s search for greater attacking depth. The presence of Luis Enrique, who knows Torres from his time with the Spanish national team, could have been an important factor in the negotiations.

For Barcelona, the deal would also provide an opportunity to generate significant revenue and ease its financial situation while continuing to work on new signings.

How much will PSG pay for Ferran?

The agreement is reportedly worth around €50 million, although ESPN reports an approximate value of $57 million.
