As of today, Disney and YouTube TV have announced a multiyear agreement that ends more than two weeks of interruption in the transmission of their channels, including ESPN, ABC, FX, and National Geographic.
The conflict began when their contract expired on October 30 and both sides failed to renew it in time, leaving millions of subscribers without access to Disney content, including live sports and key original programs. As part of the new deal, ESPN’s direct-to-consumer service, ESPN Unlimited, will be available to YouTube TV subscribers at no additional cost and will be integrated directly into the platform’s app.

The restoration of these entertainment channels has already begun, and both companies thanked users for their patience throughout the negotiations.
Why is this agreement important for subscribers?
Because in addition to getting their favorite channels back, users will now receive ESPN Unlimited at no extra charge and gain more flexibility in how they watch sports and entertainment content.
