Lionel Messi added another memorable chapter to his career after scoring his 100th goal for Inter Miami, helping the club defeat Cruz Azul 2-0 and win the 2026 Campeones Cup.

Messi opened the scoring in the 24th minute with a header from a cross by Luis Suárez, reaching the milestone in his 115th appearance for Inter Miami. Remarkably, his first goal for the club also came against Cruz Azul, during his debut in July 2023.
