The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ordered the recall of nearly 2,000 products, including food, beverages, cosmetics, medications, and everyday household items, after confirming they were stored in a facility with unsanitary conditions and the presence of rodent and bird feces and urine.

The action affects consumers in Indiana, Minnesota, and North Dakota, and includes well-known brands such as Pringles, Skittles, Cheerios, Coca-Cola, Gatorade, Pepto-Bismol, and pet food products, among others.

The FDA classified the recall as Class II, meaning that the use or consumption of these products could cause temporary or reversible adverse health effects. However, no illnesses linked to the recalled items have been reported so far.

Authorities recommend that consumers dispose of the affected products immediately and avoid using or consuming them. The full list of recalled items is available on the FDA’s official website.

What should I do if I have one of these products at home?

Dispose of it immediately and do not consume it. If you experience symptoms such as stomach discomfort or fever, seek medical attention.
