The 22-year-old influencer and singer María de la Rosa, known artistically as DELAROSA, was killed in the middle of a shooting in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to the LAPD, the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 a.m. on November 22, when two men approached a parked vehicle on Bryant Street and opened fire. Inside the car were three people; besides María, two others were injured and remain in critical condition.

DELAROSA had released her new song “No Me Llames” in August, and in her last Instagram post she shared her excitement about an upcoming musical project.

Authorities are investigating the motive behind the attack. So far, no arrests have been reported, and anyone with information about the killing is urged to contact LAPD detectives.
