Recently, the car company Toyota announced three major recall campaigns in the United States, affecting thousands of its vehicles. The decision was made after detecting defects that could increase the risk of accidents on the road.

The first recall involves around 394,000 vehicles, including Tundra models (2022–2025), Tundra Hybrid (2022–2025), and Toyota Sequoia (2023–2025). These vehicles may experience failures in their 14-inch multimedia display when reversing, preventing drivers from seeing possible obstacles behind them.

Another recall covers approximately 6,000 units of the 2025 Tacoma 4WD, due to possible defects in the front axle joints, which could cause the vehicle to move even when in “Park.”

Finally, Toyota is recalling 55,000 units of the 2025 Sienna model, as the second-row seats may be improperly welded, potentially compromising passenger safety in the event of a crash or at high speeds.

¿Should you be worried if you own a Toyota or one of these models?

Yes, if your vehicle is one of the models mentioned above. The company will notify owners between November and December 2025, and authorized dealers will carry out the necessary repairs free of charge. In the meantime, you can check if your car is affected by entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on Toyota’s official website or through the NHTSA portal.
