After almost two and a half years of waiting, 893 days, to be exact, FC Barcelona once again felt the warmth of its fans at the new and renovated Spotify Camp Nou. More than 23,000 supporters attended the open training session that marked the club’s return to its home stadium, which is still under renovation.

Amid chants, applause, and the waving of blaugrana flags, fans experienced a deeply emotional moment. Players such as Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and Fermín López were among the most cheered during the practice, which turned into a true Barça celebration.

Why did a simple training session cause so much excitement?

Because it symbolized the reunion between the team and its fans in their own home, after months of waiting and construction that forced Barcelona to play away from its stadium. This return represents another step toward the official reopening of the venue, scheduled for the coming months.

It was a day filled with pride, nostalgia, and hope, one that reminded everyone why Camp Nou remains much more than just a stadium: it is the heart of Barça’s identity.
