Customers of Bank of America across the United States will need to prepare for the temporary closure of all bank branches during May due to the celebration of Memorial Day, one of the country’s most important federal holidays. Branch offices will remain closed for 24 hours, and some in-person transactions will not be available until the next business day.
Although physical branches will be closed, customers will still be able to use ATMs, mobile apps, and online banking services for basic transactions. However, some transfers and payments could experience delays while the offices remain shut down.

The news caused concern among some users who rely on in-person service for important financial procedures. Even so, experts remind customers that this type of closure happens every year during federal holidays in the United States.
Why will all branches close?
Because Memorial Day is a national holiday and most financial institutions suspend in-person operations during that date.
Now the big question is: will dependence on digital banking continue growing as more customers visit physical branches less frequently?
