After many days of silence, Los Angeles police have revealed new details in the investigation of Celeste Rivas, the 15-year-old girl whose body was found inside the trunk of a Tesla belonging to singer D4vd.
The tragic discovery occurred on September 8 at a car storage lot in Hollywood, after the vehicle had been abandoned for days and suspicions arose from a foul odor coming from the car. The County Medical Examiner has yet to determine an official cause of death, leaving the case in limbo between an unresolved death and a criminal inquiry.
Meanwhile, D4vd has been linked to the case not only because the car was registered under his name, but also because some records suggest he knew the teenager. However, no arrests or formal charges have been made so far. Sources also revealed that the artist and his team recently vacated their Hollywood Hills residence, shortly after police carried out a surprise search of the property.
Could this case end without anyone being held accountable or be closed due to lack of evidence?
That will depend on the results of the ongoing toxicology and forensic tests. While the cause of death remains undetermined, the investigation is still active, and authorities insist no hypothesis has been ruled out.
