The highly anticipated fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis is getting closer, with this exhibition match scheduled for November 14 in Miami. However, it comes with some unconventional rules that break away from the traditional format of professional boxing.

Although both fighters have professional ring experience, this bout will not appear on their official records. The fight is set for 10 rounds of 3 minutes each, using 355-gram gloves, heavier than usual, and three judges will decide the outcome if there is no knockout.

These unusual adaptations aim to balance the weight difference between the two boxers and reduce risks under this new exhibition format. Additionally, since the fight has no professional status, there will be no belts on the line and no impact on their career records.

Why will Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis fight under such unconventional rules?

Because the physical differences between Jake and Davis make a traditional matchup too risky, and even prohibited in some jurisdictions. These unusual conditions were designed to balance the playing field, minimize dangers, and turn the fight into a spectacle rather than a career-defining clash.
