Apple recently surprised audiences by unveiling its iPhone 17 lineup, which includes the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, all featuring significant upgrades in design, cameras, and performance.
The base iPhone 17 comes with a 6.3-inch ProMotion display, an A19 chip, and a 48 MP main camera. It’s available in five colors: lavender, sage green, misty blue, white, and black. Prices start at $799.
The iPhone Air introduces the A19 Pro chip and an ultra-slim design at just 5.6 mm thick. Despite its thinner body, it still delivers strong performance and solid battery life for daily use.
The Pro and Pro Max models target the most demanding users: unibody aluminum design, 48 MP rear cameras (including a telephoto lens with up to 8× optical zoom), the A19 Pro chip, and storage options reaching 2 TB in the Pro Max.
Is it worth investing in the Pro versions?
If you’re looking for cutting-edge mobile photography, longer battery life, and premium features such as advanced zoom and top-tier materials, the Pro models are a solid choice. But for users with lighter needs, the base iPhone 17 already delivers excellent value, modern features, and an attractive design.
Pre-orders begin on September 12, with the official global release set for September 19, 2025.
